helm on chicken wire and paper post

The theme of the excellent Sun City West Westernaires Chorus concert (April 2025) was "Hope Sails On". Jan Cutler Brown asked me to help decorate part of the stage, including the wharf poles and stand for the helm. The shortest wharf pol seated a pirate who invited the audience to participate with shouts of "Arrgh", whilst a commodore at the helm countered with cheers of "Hooray". The appreciative audience seem to have a not-very-suppressed desire to be pirates. Arrgh indeed!
